TIME TO THINK ABOUT NEW YEARS EVE

My personal favourites! Both from asos.com

Kaum neigt sich der November seinem Ende zu und die ersten Türchen des Adventskalenders werden geöffnet fliegen die Gedanken schon wieder zu Weihnachten und Silvester. Die zwei größten und glamourösesten Feste des Jahres. 

Wie jedes Jahr stellen sich vor allem für Silvester zwei große Fragen: 1.: Wo feiern wir? 2.: Was ziehe ich an? 

Da sich die Frage nach der Location erfahrungsgemäß sowieso erst ein paar wenige Tage vorher klärt denke ich schon mal über die Wahl meines Outfits nach. Ich habe mal wieder ein bisschen bei asos.com und H&M gestöbert und hier ist sie nun. Die Qual der Wahl zwischen den (in meinen Augen) acht schönsten Kleidern. 

November comes to its end and the first few presents of the advent calendar can be opend. In that time my thoughts are all about Christmas and New Years Eve. The two biggest and most glamourous events of the year. 

Every year there are the two big questions: 1.: Where can we celebrate? 2.: What can I wear? 

The question of the location is mostly answered only a few days before, so I better think about what to wear. I looked around my favourite online shop asos.com and H&M and here they are: My eight favourite dresses. Now I only have to decide what I'm going to wear at my favourite party of the year.

MEET ME IN MY HOTEL ROOM

 

Der letzte Post aus Dresden. Jetzt muss ich mir also bald wieder etwas neues einfallen lassen. Ich hoffe das gelingt mir auch und ich muss euch nicht wieder Ewigkeiten auf einen neuen Post warten lassen. 

Dieses Mal geht es um das Hotel, in dem wir über das Wochenende in Dresden untergebracht waren. Es hieß Pullman Hotel  und befand sich mitten in der Prager Straße, was für Touristen natürlich optimal ist. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (und natürlich auch alle schönen Läden ;)) lassen sich von dort aus bequem zu Fuß erreichen. 

Ich habe im 14. Stock gewohnt, da war die schöne Aussicht natürlich vorprogrammiert. Leider konnte ich davon kein Foto machen, da man das Fenster nicht aufmachen konnte und es normal zu sehr gespiegelt hat. Ich könnte euch jetzt noch beschreiben wie wunderbar modern und schön alles war, aber ich lass die Bilder einfach mal für sich sprechen. 

The last post from Dresden. Now I have to think about new posts to write and photos to make. I hope I will find my inspiration soon, so I don't have to let you wait that much. 

This time it's all about the hotel where we stayed during our weekend trip. It is called Pullman Hotel  and was in the middle of a huge shopping street (Prager Straße) which was also the way straight into the city centre. The hotel is perfect for tourists, because all the important sights (and also beautiful stores :)) can be reached by walking. 

My room was in the 14th floor and I think I don't have to mention what an amazing view I had when I looked out of my window. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo, because one couldn't open the window and also I think it was more a mirror than anything you can look through when the lights were turned on. I could tell you how beautiful and modern everything was, but I think I let the pictures talk for themselves.

DREAMS DON'T WORK UNLESS YOU DO

Ich hatte das Gefühl je schöner das Wetter in Dresden wurde, desto schlechter wurde die Qualität der Fotos meiner Kamera. Nächstes Jahr muss definitiv eine neue her! 

Das Outfit habe ich an unserem zweiten Tag zur Städtetour getragen. Es war sehr kalt dort, weshalb ich auch den ganzen Tag im Zwiebellook und mit dicken Ohrenschützern und Handschuhen herumgelaufen bin, die für die Fotos mal kurz weichen mussten. Dass die Schuhe zu meinen Lieblingsschuhen diesen Herbst gehören wird euch wahrscheinlich schon aufgefallen sein und auch die Tasche weicht seit mehreren Wochen nicht mehr von meiner Seite. 

Letztes Wochenende fand endlich mein Umzug statt. Die Wohnung ist schon fast fertig eingerichtet, das Internet kommt nächste Woche und ich kehre wieder in den Alltag zurück. Mir gefällt es schon sehr gut und ich freue mich schon darauf euch bald ein paar Bilder zeigen zu können. 

The better the weather became on our trip to dresden the worst became the quality of the photos from my camera, at least in my eyes. I think next years it is definitly time for a new one! 

I wore the outfit on our second day for the big sightseeing tour. It was extremely cold, which was why I kept wearing many many layers of clothes, huge earmuffs and warm gloves all day, whose only had to make way for the photos. I think I don't have to mention that these boots are definitly one of my favourite pairs this winter and the bag does not move from my side for a few weeks now, too. 

Last weekend I moved into my new appartment. It is almost completely furnished, the internet arrives next week and I'm slowly getting back into my daily life. I really like it there already and I'm looking forward to the time when I can show you the first pictures of my new home.

SEQUIN LOVE

Wenige Stunden nach unserer Ankunft in Dresden ging es auch gleich los zu einem Besuch im Theater. Gezeigt wurde "Sommernachtstraum" von William Shakespeare. Gerechnet habe ich mit einem klassischen Theaterstück. Gezeigt wurde letztendlich doch eine moderne Interpretation von einer Gruppe junger, sehr talenierter Schauspieler. 

Für den Abend entschied ich mich für meinen neuen schwarzen Pailletten-Cardigan von H&M. Ich finde er passt toll in die Vorweihnachtszeit und hat mir für den Abend die richtige Portion an Eleganz gegeben. Leider sind die Fotos nicht besonders hochwertig, da ich sie auf die Schnelle in meinem Hotelzimmer gemacht habe. Ich hoffe euch gefällt der Post trotzdem :-) 

Just a few hours after we arrived in Dresden we visited one of the theatres in Dresden. We watched "A Midsummer Night's Dream" from William Shakespeare. I thought we would watch a traditional performance, but it was more a modern interpretation of a few very talented young actors and actresses. 

For this evening I decided to wear my new sequin cardigan from H&M. I think it is just perfect for the days and weeks before christmas and on this evening it definitly gave me the right portion of elegance. 

Unfortunately the photos are not the best, because I took them in my hotelroom right before I had to leave. I hope you like the post anyhow :-)

IMPRESSIONS: DRESDEN

 

 Wie versprochen gibt es heute die Bilder aus Dresden. Meine Kamera ist nicht die beste und eine Starfotografin bin ich auch nicht, dafür sind die Bilder aber trotzdem recht gut geworden. Das Wetter war einfach wahnsinnig schön und wir konnten einen ganzen Tag viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten von Dresden genießen. 

Two days ago I put together some of the best photos I made on our second day in Dresden. My camera is definitly not the best and I'm not a star photographer, but the weather was on my side that day so the pictures became quiet good. The sun was shining all day, there was not a single cloud in the sky and we enjoyed a whole day the best places in Dresden.

THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING

Und wieder einmal kam es zu einer längeren Abwesenheit meinerseits auf dem Blog als ich geplant hatte. Der Grund dafür war ein Kurztrip nach Dresden am Wochenende in Kombination mit einem Hotel ohne kostenfreies W-LAN. 

Jetzt bin ich aber zurück und melde mich mit einem Outfit von letztem Freitag kurz vor der Abreise bei euch. Beim Verreisen habe ich gerne etwas bequemes an, weshalb ich mich für die Hose (man könnte sie fast schon Jeggins nennen, so weich ist sie) von Goldsign entschieden. Die Stiefel musste ich anziehen, da ich ohnehin schon genug Gepäck hatte und der Blazer durfte im Koffer natürlich auch nicht zerknittern. 

Der Schal ist ein kleiner Neuankömmling in meinem Kleiderschrank. Ich habe ihn Leni von Featherlight auf Kleiderkreisel abgekauft und bin jetzt schon hin und weg. Er ist definitiv eines meiner neuen Lieblingsherbstschätze. 

In den nächsten Tagen kommen noch ein paar Posts aus Dresden damit ihr euch nicht langweilt während ich diese Woche mitten in den Umzugsvorbereitungen stecke. Ich wünsche euch noch einen schönen Sonntag und einen guten Start in die neue Woche :-) 

Yes, I did it again. I stayed away from the blog longer than I first wanted. The reason for it this time was a weekend trip to Dresden in combination with an expensive wireless-lan in our hotel. 

Now I'm back with my outfit from last friday afternoon. I like to wear something comfortable on more or less long journeys. That's why I decided to wear the very comfy pants from Goldsign. I had to wear the rain boots, because most space of my suitcase was already taken and the blazer is simply too wonderful to get rumpled in my bag. 

The scarf is a little newcomer in my closet. I bought it from Leni of Featherlight  and I'm already delighted. It is definitly one of my new all time favourites in autumn. 

In the next days there will be a few posts from Dresden on Fabulous Destiny, because you shouldn't become bored when I'm in the middle of big moving preparations. I hope you'll all spend a great sunday evening and have a good start in the week :-)

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE

Noch ein kleiner Outfitpost um Mitternacht. Das Outfit ist heute ein bisschen eleganter ausgefallen als sonst. Der Grund dafür war der Geburtstag der besten Mami der Welt. Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Tag mit der ganzen (kleinen) Familie. Jetzt bin ich einfach nur erschöpft und kann deshalb auch nicht mehr viel sinnvolles schreiben, ich hoffe ihr versteht das :-) Ich wünsche euch noch eine schöne Woche. Schlaft gut, meine Lieben! 

Just a little outfit post at midnight. Today, I wore an outfit a little bit more elegant than usually. The reason for it was the birthday of the best mum in the world. We had a great day with the whole (little) familiy. Now I'm just tired and can't write with much sense anymore, I hope you understand that :-) I hope you'll all have a great week.
