THE FORGOTTEN PHONE

In der heutigen Zeit bauen wir, die jüngere Generation, ja doch recht schnell eine tiefere Bindung zu jemandem auf. Meist begleitet uns dieser jemand überall mit hin, kennt all unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse und versucht diese zu erfüllen. Er lässt uns nie schlecht aussehen und kleidet sich immer genau nach unserem Geschmack. 

Von wem ich rede? Richtig, von unserem Smartphone. Ende 2011 bin auch ich dem iPhone-Hype verfallen und habe mir das damals fast noch aktuelle und moderne iPhone 3GS gekauft. Einige werden da jetzt lachen und mir einem breiten Grinsen auf ihr iPhone 5S neben dem Laptop schauen. Für mich war mein Liebling trotzdem das Beste Handy auf der Welt. 

Wie das aber mit iPhones, und vor allem deren Akkus, immer so ist ging seine Lebenszeit nach bereits 2 Jahren zu Ende und ich musste mich nach einem neuen Handy umsehen. 

Gestern habe ich es dann mal wieder aus den Tiefen meiner Schublade herausgekramt und angeschalten. Da sind mir so viele Fotos von vor 2-3 Jahren in die Hand gefallen, die mich sofort in Erinnerungen schwelgen ließen.

Wie ist das bei euch? Grabt ihr auch gerne alte Handys und alte Fotos aus oder heißt euer Motto "Vergangenes soll auch in der Vergangenheit bleiben"? 

Nowadays we, the younger generation, have many deep relationships. They all last about 2 years and break down, because our better half could not make it any longer, even though he was perfect for us. He follows us everywhere we go, knows every wish and need tries to fulfill every little thing. He never makes us look bad and dresses just like we want him to. 

Haven't met that man yet? Don't worry. I'm talking about the smartphone (if anyone here has met a man like that, please PLEASE leave me a comment ;)). 

In the end of 2011 I became the latest victim of the iPhone-hype and bought the almost "new" iPhone 3GS. I know, many of you will smile at their iPhone 5S next to their laptops right now, but for me in this time my 3GS was the best cellphone in the whole wide world. 

But as you know, iPhone batteries does not last that long, so I had to say goodbye to my beloved phone only 2 years after I got it and look for a new one. 

Yesterday my ex-smartphone landed back in my hands and I couldn't help but turn it on. There they were: many many photos and videos from 2011 to 2013 which reminded me of so many good and bad times.
