skinnyjeans & loafers - H&M

Zu meinem Geburtstag bekam ich von einigen meiner liebsten Freunde einen H&M Gutschein geschenkt. Wie bereits berichtet hatte ich aber die letzten Wochen recht viel zu tun und habe es nicht einmal für eine kleine Shoppingtour in die Stadt geschafft. 

Nachdem ich heute aber wieder erfolgreich eine Klausur hinter mich gebracht hatte musste ich mich einfach belohnen. Eine klassische schwarze Röhrenhose (mit viiiel Stretch, damit auch nach dem Eisessen der Bauch noch reinpasst ;)) und meine ersten Loafers mit Zebra-Print durften mit mir nach Hause gehen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Einkauf und wieder einmal stolz auf mich, dass ich tatsächlich shoppen gehen und nur das kaufen kann was ich tatsächlich brauche ;) 

For my birthday, I got a h&m voucher from a few of my dearest friends. As I already mentioned I had lots of things to do the past weeks so there wasn't time for a small shopping tour either. 

After I sucessfully passed another exam today, I decided to do something good for me and my (fashion) soul and went shopping. I came out of the store with some classic black skinnyjeans (with A LOT of stretch so there is still enough space for the tummy after the third ice-cream scoop) and my very first loafers with zebra print. 

I am very satisfied with what I bought today and also very proud of me, because I only bought what I really needed. Again! ;)

THE COLORS OF SUMMER

Früher habe ich mich für diese kleinen Fläschchen fast gar nicht interessiert. Dass sich das mittlerweile geändert hat kann jeder sehen, der mein Zimmer betritt. Auf einem extra freigeräumten Brett meines Regals tummelt sich nämlich eine riesengroße Nagellack-Familie. Da sie sich in den letzten Monaten derart vergrößert hat konnte ich sie sogar schon verschiedenen Jahreszeiten zuordnen. 

Da ich seit den ersten Sonnenstrahlen bereits wieder zu 100% in Sommerstimmung bin (Bikinieinkauf XXL inklusive) dachte ich mir ich zeige euch heute mal meine Sommerbeautyfavoriten für die Nägel. 

Meiner Meinung nach geht immer noch nichts über die Essie Lacke - ich liebe sie einfach - aber welche mögt ihr denn am Liebsten? Lasst es mich wissen und euch inspirieren :) 

A few years ago I wasn't very interested in these tiny things. To see that this interest has changed one only has to enter my room and look at my bookshelf (not a bookshelf anymore). My big nail polish family has settled down here and always looks for new members. I now have about 60 different colors what allows me to match them to the different seasons of the years.
Since the sun first came out this year, I'm already 100% stuck in summer mood (XXL bikini shopping included). That's why I thought I should show you my summer favorites for the nails. 

In my opinion, there is nothing better than the Essie nail polishes - I really love them - but let me know what you like the most. Brand, color, design, ... I'm curious about your answers :)

THE CARRIE WAY OF LIFE

6 Staffeln, 2 Filme. Alles unendlich mal angeschaut und trotzdem kann ich nicht genug bekommen. Genug von der taffen Blondine aus New York City: Carrie Bradshaw. 

Wieso kann man sie beneiden? Sie wohnt meiner Meinung nach in einer der aufregendsten Städte der Welt, in einem nahezu perfekten Apartment mit einem definitiv perfekten Kleiderschrank. 

Sie hat die besten Freundinnen auf die sie immer zählen kann und findet letztendlich auch noch die Liebe ihres Lebens in dem Mann ihrer Träume.

Endlos erscheinende Tage und Nächte saß ich vor dem Fernseher und habe mir eine Folge nach der anderen angesehen. 3 Mal habe ich für den ersten Film Eintritt ins Kino bezahlt und Stunden habe ich auf Pinterest verbracht um mir die besten der besten Carrie-Inspirationen zu holen. So also auch heute. Damit nicht nur ich, sondern auch ihr etwas habt und die tollste Filmfigur aller Zeiten bewundern könnt. 

6 seasons, 2 movies of Sex and the city and I still can't get enough of her. The beautiful blonde fashionista from New York City: Carrie Bradshaw. 

Why do I admire her? She lives in one of the most exciting citys of this planet in a near perfect apartment with the definitely most perfect closet. 

She has the best friends she can almost count on and finally finds the love of her life in the man of her dreams. 

Endless days and nights passed where I was sitting in front of the TV watching one episode after another. I payed three times for watching the first movie in the cinema and spent hours in front of my computer to collect the most beautiful inspiration pictures on Pinterest. Just like today, so I do not have to admire her alone, but showing you a little inspiration of the Carrie way of life.

HELLO SELMA

Wie ihr wisst lebe ich dann doch manchmal nach dem Motto "Besser spät als nie" und deshalb kommt der bereits im März versprochene Post heute. Im letzten Monat war sehr viel los: Kurze Erholungspause von der Uni im Urlaub, ein neues Semester mit neuen Prüfungen, die ein oder andere Feier zu meinem Geburtstag und schließlich der Umzug meiner besten Freundin nach England für 6 Monate. 

Jetzt wollte ich mich aber doch wieder einmal zurückmelden und euch meinen neuen Liebling vorstellen. Die Michael Kors Selma durfte an meinem Geburtstag bei mir einziehen. Gefunden habe ich sie im Wien Urlaub Anfang März im Steffl - District 5. In dieser Ausführung hatte ich sie vorher noch gar nicht gesehen, fand sie aber wahnsinnig schön und konnte es kaum erwarten sie Ende März dann endlich ausführen zu können :-) 

As you might now I often live like "better late than never". That's why the post originally planned for march is going online today. In the past month I had a lot of things going on in my life: A short holiday from university, the new beginning of the next semester with new exams, one or another party for my birthday and last but not least my best friend moving to England to live there for the next six months. 

Today I felt like I haven't talked to you for ages (which is actually true I guess) so I just had to give you a little sign of life. In this post it's all about my new big love: The Michael Kors Selma. The best birthday present of all time. Not because I'm a designer bag freak, but because I wanted to have it for years now and finally my mum made this dream come true. I found it/her at Steffl Department Store - District 5 during my last holiday in Vienna. I've never seen this model before, but I loved it and couldn't help but count the days until I could finally carry it around with me :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

Wenn ihr das lest befinde ich mich schon in höchster Feierlaune auf einer meiner vielen Stationen für den morgigen Tag. Ja, es ist mal wieder so weit: Ich habe Geburtstag. 20 Jahre jung und immer noch absolut fabelhaft. Ich weiß, Samantha aus Sex and the City sagt das als sie 50 wird aber ich dachte das ziehe ich schon einmal vor.

Ein Tag voller Unternehmungen mit der Familie und mit Freunden steht mir bevor und ich freue mich wie jedes Jahr schon wahnsinnig darauf. Mein Geburtstagsgeschenk durfte ich mir im Voraus schon aussuchen, allerdings werdet ihr es wohl erst morgen sehen. So viel kann ich aber schon mal sagen: Mir wurde einer meiner langjährigen materiellen Wünsche erfüllt und ich freue mich so so sehr darüber! 

Je nachdem wie actionreich der Tag werden wird werden entweder viele oder wenige Fotos entstehen, aber ein paar Schnappschüsse mit der Handykamera sollten schon drin sein um euch auch an diesem Tag teilhaben zu lassen. 

Wie auch vor zwei Jahren schon wird es dieses Jahr wieder ein Vergleichsfoto geben. Ich vor etwa einem Jahr (in diesem Fall sind es 1,5 Jahre) und von heute (bzw. vor einer Woche). So viel wie beim letzten Mal hat sich zwar nicht, aber es ist doch einen Post wert :-) 

Natürlich wünsche ich euch auch einen wundervollen Tag und wenn ihr einen Grund zum Feiern sucht, dann feiert doch einfach ein bisschen meinen Geburtstag mit :-) Hiermit wieder einmal ein riesengroßes DANKE an meine treuen Leser. Ihr seid die Besten. Ich lese jeden Kommentar und freue mich immer wie ein kleines Kind, wenn ich sehe dass euch meine Einträge gefallen. Danke <3 

When you're reading this I'm probably already in the middle of partying. Yes, you're right, it's time again. Time for MY BIRTHDAY. I feel like a little kid (or like Lilly in How I met your mother) when it comes to birthdays. I know it can be stressful to meet all your beloved ones and not forgetting anyone, but I really enjoy this day of the year. 

Today I will reach my 20s. 20 and fabulous. I know Samantha from Sex and the City said it's "50 and fabulous", but as you know me, I couldn't wait for that. 

Lunch with my grandma, dinner with my parents, cocktails and party with my friends - that's all my day is about and I can't wait to start it. What I got for my birthday will be on the blog in about one or two days, just so you can become a little more curious about it ;) No, just kidding. I guess I won't be able to crawl out of bed before noon on friday and then there's another birthday lunch so that's the reason. All I can say is that the present I chose is on my wishlist for so long now and I can't wait to finally hold it in my hands!

As you can see above, I did the "before and after"-thing again. Me in 2013 and me in 2014. This time I cannot see a huge difference, but I simply like those pictures and I thought my birthday was the perfect day to show them together. 

I hope you will also spend an amazing day. If you're looking for a reason to party, just celebrate with me :) In the end I just wanted to say THANK YOU again for reading my blog for such a long time now and for being so patient with me and my not appearing blogposts and so on. You really are the best! I read every comment and I really freak out like a little kid if some of you actually like what I'm writing or wearing. Thank you so so much <3

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY

Und nun ist es auch schon wieder soweit: Die letzte Ferienwoche ist um und ab Montag beginnt der Uni-Alltag wieder. Aus diesem Grund muss dieses Wochenende natürlich noch genutzt werden. 

Um mich schon mal wieder ein bisschen auf die Uni einzustimmen gehe ich heute Abend mit zwei meiner liebsten Kommilitoninnen in eine Bar. Das Outfit dafür ist nicht sonderlich spektakulär, aber ich mag es momentan sehr gerne. 

Wie ich feststellte passt die Lederjacke einfach zu allem und wird seither fast jeden Tag ausgeführt. Umso trauriger bin ich natürlich, dass die Temperaturen morgen wieder sinken sollen und mein Lieblingskleidungsstück wieder für die Winterjacke Platz machen muss. 

Noch ein Grund den heutigen Abend sehr zu genießen! Ich hoffe ihr verbringt auch ein wundervolles Wochenende.

And it's time again: Next monday my second semester at university will begin. That means holidays are over and it's all about getting up early and studying late at night agian. But that's just the perfect reason to enjoy this weekend to the fullest. 

For my to get used to my daily life at university again I will meet two of my closest university friends for some cocktails tonight. What I wore for that is nothing so spectacular, but I really like it anyways. 

In the past week I realized that this leather jacket simply fits to everything, which is why I wear it almost every day at the moment. The upcoming lower temperatures make me very sad, because my beauty has to leave and the winterjacket has to move back into the closet again. 

Just another reason to enjoy this evening. I hope you guys will also have a nice weekend.

ADDICTED TO: PINTEREST

Seit Monaten plane ich diesen Post nun schon, aber als ich ihn vorbereitet habe stellte ich fest, dass es sich tatsächlich gelohnt hat zu warten. 

Stunden verbrachte ich insgesamt im letzten Jahr auf Pinterest und habe mich noch lange nicht an all den wunderbar inspirierenden Bildern sattgesehen. Ich habe für mich selbst bisher "stolze" 16 Pinnwände erstellt, die ich euch alle mit einem Bild vorstellen möchte.
